Making profound statements regarding the best of (...) is something I like to do more often than not. It adds more perspective and distinction when discussing an artist.  Case in point, Lykee Li's latest release, a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Silver Springs" is not only one of her best recordings ever, but one of the most impressive covers that I've ever heard.
